IDMT got me the opportunity I needed to take my career to the next level. I loved what they offered: we have an event where you get in front of SAG agencies and if they want to sign you, we help out in the process. That's just the starters! We received coaching for the auditions along with materials. Those that made it to call backs received more coaching on how to prepare for those meetings. Word to the wise, if you are looking for a modeling agency to actively find you work, go else where, that is not what they are. If you're looking for coaching and development to prepare to perform when you get work from those types of agencies, IDMT is it. If you're serious.
Honest, professional organization. You are going into business for yourself in the industry so the investment seems fair considering what it covers. Expectations were met and beyond. Strong communications channel. As with anything you get what you put into it. This is not for anyone that is considering a hobby! You will learn the legal requirements, the financial contributions and tracking, the HR (yes your child is taught how to acknowledge and address an uncomfortable/questionable situation) and the discipline of creating a calendar throughout this process. Everything taught and the portfolio provided is INDUSTRY STANDARD! You will not find that with a lot of other organizations. My son is signed to multiple agencies and the ones he gets work through all use the tools provided by IDMT. The agents have literally said that previous portfolios with a different agency were a waste of my money bec the pictures were not industry standard. The training provided and 1:1 coaching is respected amongst agencies and other mother agents. We have been told previously utilized coaching and classes held no weight by agents and casting directors, not just Ms. Nina. (Yes, she exposes (and introduces) you to agents, top photographers, and casting directors). After working with agencies that provided no guidance, no work, no training, poor and unprofessional communication, overcharged photo shoots, and low exposure...I have spent the money and wasted enough time to offer a fair comparison. Nina is exactly as she presents herself, which is a MOTHER AGENT. Does she offer work and opportunities during your time with her and after, yes! Does her team offer additional classes and coaching beyond getting signed to an agent, yes! Will she be fair and honest about a contract offer, yes and she does not offer legal advice, she still recommends a lawyer! Nina is on your journey to success with you, not letting you sit on a roster, inexperienced, unexposed, and waiting. If you think that what she offers is free, let me know when you find this level of quality for free and we can chat! The free organizations were worth exactly what you paid, NOTHING!! Once you get signed, you pay for stuff so if you are looking for free, the industry isn't for you. We have been working with Nina all of 2025 and haven't been busier! Whoever made comments about the price are probably still not working with their free agent, free mother agent, and have no clue how to manage their career. Your entertainment lawyer isn't free, your access to the platforms to work aren't free, your portfolio isn't free, your travel isn't free, so pay, do your homework, read your materials, stay on top of your emails, and enjoy the ride!

Do you accept beginners?
Absolutely. Many of our talent start with little to no experience. At IDMT, we focus on scouting, developing, training, and preparing talent for the real industry. What matters most is potential, work ethic, attitude, and the willingness to learn.
Is IDMT an agency?
Industry Direct Models & Talent is a Mother Agent and talent development company. We scout, train, develop, and help place talent with SAG-AFTRA franchised agencies and top-tier modeling agencies. We guide talent through branding, materials, training, industry preparation, and introductions to agencies and industry professionals.
What does a typical tour include?
Our tours are designed to prepare talent for real industry opportunities. Depending on the package and market, tours may include: Training and workshops Industry-standard photoshoots Comp cards and marketing materials Agency and industry meetings Interview preparation Runway or acting coaching Parent workshops Callback support and follow-up guidance This is not a “show up and hope” experience. Preparation is a major part of the process.
How do I start?
The first step is to submit an application or schedule a consultation with our team. From there, we evaluate your goals, experience, marketability, and readiness, then guide you through the next steps that best fit your path.
Do I need professional photos to apply?
No. Simple natural photos are perfectly fine when applying. We just need clear images so we can properly evaluate you. Professional industry materials usually come later during the development process.
What ages do you work with?
We work with kids, teens, and adults. Opportunities exist across different age groups in both modeling and acting, and we help guide talent toward the markets that best fit them.
I got a callback/offer—what happens next?
First of all… congratulations. That means your materials and presentation made an impression. Once you receive a callback or offer, IDMT helps guide you through the next steps, which may include: Interview preparation Self-tape coaching Communication with agencies or casting Contract guidance Material submissions Career strategy moving forward Getting signed is exciting — but staying prepared, professional, and ready to work is what truly builds a lasting career.
What are the costs—and do you offer payment plans?
Programs, tours, and training options vary depending on the market and package selected. We do offer payment arrangements and financing options for qualifying participants. During your consultation, we’ll explain what fits your goals and budget best.
I’m not in the U.S.—can I still work with you?
At this time, IDMT only works with talent based in the United States. Since much of our training, development, and industry placement process is focused on the U.S. market, participants must currently reside in the U.S. to work with our team.
